A Spirit Named Buddy - Session Review and Notes
I get a lot of names during my ghost box sessions. Some come through once or twice, while others seem to stick around. Buddy is one of those that keeps coming back.
As far as I know, the first time I received the name Buddy in a session was in 2023. I recently started doing sessions again in 2026, and I'm getting the name Buddy more than ever before. I get it no matter what device I use, and sometimes it's very clear.
When asked for, Buddy often comes through and seems to answer questions. When Buddy is mentioned out loud, the session often reflects the questions asked. Buddy also seems to interact with the spirit Tina through the responses that I get on the ghost box.
In one instance of asking for Buddy I got the response, "He's in the back". When asked if they could bring him forward, I got the answer, "Maybe". These responses made me wonder. What did they mean by in the back? Where are they exactly? I have often asked them where they are but can't ever seem to get a clear answer.
When asked which voice was Buddy's, a childlike voice came through the box saying, "Daddy". I have heard this same voice in sessions over the years, and it' a very distinct one. Whether or not it's actually Buddy's voice, I can't say for sure. I remember one night at an old, abandoned church was when I first heard the voice. In my head, I thought of a Cherub angel, because it seemed like the voice fit the profile. Back then I was using my 12-587 RadioShack ghost box a lot, maybe I should break it out again and ask for Buddy.
The spirit box tends to have many different voices come through, and it seems like the spirits can use these voices no matter what tone, gender, or age that the voice presents. A female spirit could come through with a male's voice, and vice versa. I think there is more to that than we understand, but it's one of those mysteries of the ghost box that can't be easily explained.
When asked how old Buddy is, I got the response "Twenty" twice. This is a number that keeps coming up in sessions recently, including in our Estes method session we did earlier in April 2026. The numbers twenty and twenty-eight have been repeated numerous times lately. Whether it's an age or something else, I do not know. All I can do is document the captures and hope to make some sense out of what I am hearing and recording.
Whatever the case, I'd like to learn more about Buddy and I hope that he stays around. I have had some spirits come through very strong, only to seemingly disappear within days of hearing their names in sessions. We will review some of those older sessions another day and talk about those spirits as well. I plan to review all of my sessions that I currently have on YouTube eventually but will just move forward one at a time.
