I get a lot of names during my ghost box sessions. Some come through once or twice, while others seem to stick around. Buddy is one of those that keeps coming back.  As far as I know, the first time I received the name Buddy in a session was in 2023. I recently started doing sessions again in 2026, and I'm getting the name Buddy more than ever before. I get it no matter what device I use, and sometimes it's very clear.  When asked for, Buddy often comes through and seems to answer questions. When Buddy is mentioned out loud, the session often reflects the questions asked. Buddy also seems to interact with the spirit Tina through the responses that I get on the ghost box.  In one instance of asking for Buddy I got the response, "He's in the back". When asked if they could bring him forward, I got the answer, "Maybe". These responses made me wonder. What did they mean by in the back? Where are they exactly? Some ghost box sessions feel random. Others feel like something is actually trying to communicate. These were some of those sessions. Sometimes when conducting ghost box sessions, I get some strange responses that leave me thinking: what does this mean?  This video showcases some of these responses and I'd like to further talk about them here. I want to express some thoughts about them, and that's what this site is for. 1. "Portis Builder" When I was reviewing the sessions and heard the words Portis Builder come through, I knew there was something to it. I had heard the word Portis before but didn't know what it meant. When I looked it up, I discovered that it was a Latin term that translates to "gate" or "door". This instantly piqued my interest, because it made me think of a door or gate to the other side.
